Print Production Specialist
The job of Print Production Specialist is done for the purpose of serving as receptionist for the department, helping walk-in customers and taking calls; providing support to the duplicating process with specific responsibilities for completing high volume reproduction requests; cutting paper stock; and finishing jobs by binding, stapling, wrapping, folding, perforating. Essential functions include duplicating printed materials using a variety of processes, inspecting copied jobs, maintaining inventory of paper and bindery supplies, performing minor repairs and routine maintenance, preparing completed jobs, printing a wide variety of forms, catalogs, brochures, documents, wide format posters and latex banners, processing and invoicing all print orders, processing job administrative information, reproducing a variety of forms and documents, responding to inquiries, and supporting other department staff.
The candidate should operate and maintain knowledge of Print Shop Pro, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, printing equipment, and production processes. Requirements include age 16+, a high school diploma or equivalent, and job-related experience.
