Collision Repair Detailer

Job Overview

American Fork Chevrolet, a Ken Garff Automotive Dealership, is looking for a Detailer & Lot Tech for its Collision Repair Center. This role supports our core values of respect, intelligence, greatness, honesty, and teamwork.

• Wash vehicle exteriors using cleaning solutions, water, cloths and brushes.
• Apply wax to auto body and buff surfaces to protect and preserve shine.
• Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using cleaning agents and devices.
• Vacuum interiors to remove loose dirt and debris.
• Apply revitalizers, preservatives, and stain‑resistant chemicals to vinyl or leather surfaces.
• Use special‑purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials not removed by normal procedures.
• Clean engine and engine compartment with steam cleaning equipment and cleaning agents.
• Apply paint to chipped body surfaces of the vehicle.
• Apply dyes and reconditioning chemicals to vinyl tops to restore color and condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Prior detailer or car wash experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid in‑state driver's license.
• Ability to read and comprehend job‑related instructions and information.
• Excellent manual dexterity, patience, and an eye for detail.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
