Email & SMS Specialist

Our email marketing direct to businesses is no different. As competitors get better and faster at trying to copy us, we look for new ways to communicate our product stories in a way that stands out and resonates with our customers.

We’re looking for a hands‑on email and SMS marketer to join our busy collaborative direct marketing team. You will be building a variety of marketing emails targeted at different segments of our commercial business. You will learn our unique industries and understand how to build compelling messages to drive business directly to our website.

As part of your role, you will work with a Retention Manager to build out a calendar of email and SMS campaigns to our commercial subscriber lists.

You will also participate in other digital and traditional marketing activities to grow the list of commercial leads and customers, as well as drive significant commercial revenue.

A basic portfolio or sample of work of web/email design and text layout is required with your application.

• Design and craft copy for regular promotional and automated email and SMS campaigns
• Organize and coordinate digital resources and assets required for email marketing campaigns
• Design eye‑catching email layouts that lead to higher levels of engagement
• Create and edit image assets for emails
  
  Continually optimize design, imagery, and CTA’s by building and executing A/B test variants to add value to every email and SMS sent to our 1 million+ subscriber list
• Research up‑to‑date and emerging technologies and developments in the design field and implement them when appropriate
• Successfully manage a personal task list in order to complete projects on time
• Perform other duties as assigned

• 3+ years of experience handling creative requests, creating and editing photo files, and designing email templates in WYSIWYG editor
• Experience creating persuasive emails selling tangible products
• Experience with Klaviyo is a plus
• Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Familiarity with basic CSS and/or HTML strongly preferred
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to work hard, and take ownership and accountability for your role
