Digital Design, Publishing, Marketing Coordinator, and Financial Literacy Teacher

Overview

Digital Design, Publishing, Marketing Coordinator, and Financial Literacy Teacher at American Heritage School. This position combines classroom instruction with marketing and communications responsibilities in a faith-based educational environment.

• Teach the Digital Design and Publishing course (meets approximately four hours per week) and oversee the production of the high school yearbook; support publicity and promotional content for high school events.
• Teach Financial Literacy (required course for all eleventh-grade students; meets two times per week for one academic term).
• Contribute to marketing efforts for the school, particularly within the school community and on campus.
• Serve as Marketing Coordinator (approximately 10 hours per week): organize and manage the school's social media, coordinate photographers for school events, and guide major projects such as the annual school magazine.
• Assist with other duties as assigned that align with teaching, publishing, and marketing goals.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; preference for degrees in marketing, digital design, business, finance, or related fields.
• Experience working with youth, particularly in a formal high school setting, preferred.
• Strong proficiency with digital tools and publishing platforms; excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• High emotional intelligence, strong communication and interpersonal skills, professionalism, technical proficiency, and a willingness to learn and grow.
• Interest in and commitment to the values of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; ability to incorporate those values into teaching, mentorship, and professional conduct.
• Professional appearance and demeanor; willingness to uphold and model the AHS Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement on and off-campus.
• Position available starting July 27, 2026.
