Where you fit:

As the FP&A Manager and Strategic Business Partner for Payments, you will serve as the financial co‑pilot to our Payments leadership team. In this role, you will drive financial planning, performance management, and strategic decision‑making across a fast‑growing payments organization. You will work closely with Payments leadership to translate business strategy into financial outcomes, provide insight into unit economics, and support scalable growth.

This role requires strong financial acumen, deep curiosity about payments economics, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders through data‑driven insights.

You will have a front‑row seat to the scaling of our fastest growing business unit, with the autonomy to influence the financial trajectory of our global payments strategy.

Preference will be given to those who can work a hybrid schedule, working from the office in American Fork, U T, but consideration will also extend to remote candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Partnering

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes for the Payments segment. Own the P&L, focusing on Gross to Net Revenue, operating expenses, and KPIs. Develop and maintain detailed financial models, including revenue drivers, transaction volumes, take rates, and interchange fees.
  • Unit Economics & Margin Analysis: Deep dive into payment processing costs (interchange & network fees, gateway fees, and processor costs). Identify opportunities to optimize margins.
  • Performance Reporting & Insights: Develop and maintain real‑time dashboards tracking key performance indicators such as volume, take rates, churn rates, and migrations. Prepare executive‑level materials for leadership reviews and board discussions.
  • Scenario Modeling: Build complex financial models to support the strategic initiatives of the business unit.
  • Process Improvement & Leadership: Improve FP&A processes, tools, and data quality to support a scalable payments platform. Mentor and develop junior analysts, providing guidance on modeling, storytelling, and business partnership. Partner with Accounting and Data teams to ensure alignment between financial results, operational data, and forecasts.
Qualifications:

Experience: 6‑10+ years in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Strategic Finance, with experience supporting a Payments, Fintech, or high‑growth technology business strongly preferred.

  • Technical

    Skills:

    Advanced financial modeling skills and strong proficiency in Excel; experience with FP&A systems, BI tools, or SQL a plus.
  • Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Payments ecosystem.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA is a plus.

  • Communication: Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
