Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Full-Time Therapist with our Vantage Point North Program in American Fork, Utah! With a competitive wage of $30.26-$44.47/hour, this role offers the opportunity to provide therapeutic support to youth ages 10-17 during times of crisis. Vantage Point is a short-term, voluntary youth crisis facility that provides a safe and supportive environment for youth experiencing family conflict, mental health challenges, trauma-related behaviors, suicidal thoughts, running away, risk of homelessness, or other challenges affecting their well-being.

Therapists work with youth and families to help resolve conflict, develop effective coping strategies, and create a plan for moving forward while helping prevent unnecessary emergency room visits, law enforcement involvement, and escalation into other systems of care.

Male applicants are preferred due to current program demand.

Sunday-Thursday, Hours are Varied

Compensation: $30.26-$44.47 DOE and Licensure

• Provide direct and indirect clinical services to youth experiencing crisis.
• Complete intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Coordinate care with supervisors, multidisciplinary teams, and community partners.
• Provide consultation and training to external organizations, such as Juvenile Detention Centers.
• Monitor client progress, behaviors, and responses to medications.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and case management records.
• Support a safe, therapeutic, and structured treatment environment.

• Master's degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Utah licensure as CSW, ACMHC, AMFT, LCSW, CMHC, or LMFT (or the ability to obtain it before starting).
• Solid skills in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and providing therapy.
• Comfortable working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
• Reliable with documentation and maintaining professional standards.
• Committed to ethical practice and ongoing learning.
• Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
