Job Description
This is a temporary, full‑time position with a fixed term. Employment will conclude either on a specified end date or earlier if circumstances require. It is expected that the position will last for up to 3 months, with possible availability to move into a full‑time and permanent role based on production needs and job performance.
Pay$18.75 per hour
Schedule- Day Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday – Thursday
- Swing Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:45 PM, Monday – Thursday
- Shortened schedules on Fridays. Part‑time shifts may be available only on swing shift upon request.
As an industrial sewing machine operator, you will work within a team performing stand‑up sewing to produce temple garments and temple clothing for members of the Church worldwide. The work is physical, demanding, and fast‑paced, and it supports the mission of the Church by helping members keep Temple covenants.
Responsibilities- Assemble materials into finished garment products following established sewing processes.
- Meet quality requirements.
- Meet production requirements.
- Maintain Church and Beehive Clothing employment standards.
- Operate and maintain industrial‑grade sewing machines.
- Must be 18 years old or older to apply.
- Must understand and communicate effectively in English to follow safety instructions, training, and team communications. Interviews and assessments are conducted fully in English without translation services.
- Must be a high school graduate.
- Closed‑toe shoes are required during interview and work.
- Must possess an unexpired temple recommend.
- Simple & Complex Dexterity Test

- Sewing Test (fabric handling and following instructions)

- Stand and move throughout the shift.
- Communicate in English effectively with a team.
- Perform fast, repetitive movements for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
- Periodically bend, twist, and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
- Work overtime, if needed, based on production needs.
Eligible candidates will receive a $1,000 onboarding reward in three increments: $250 on the first day, $250 after 4 months, and $500 after 1 year. This reward is not available to rehires.
