We are searching for an experienced
Director of Operations
—a strategic, hands‑on leader with deep expertise in nutraceutical or dietary supplement manufacturing. The ideal candidate is currently running all aspects of manufacturing operations in a GMP‑regulated environment and demonstrates strong potential for advancement to a
future C‑suite role (COO).
This leader will oversee production, quality, planning, scheduling, engineering, maintenance, packaging, and operational excellence initiatives. They will drive operational performance, scale capacity, and champion a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership
- Lead all daily manufacturing operations across multiple production lines including capsules, tablets, stick packs, tinctures, liquid fill, and health drink/shot lines.
- Develop and execute short‑and long‑term operational strategies aligned with company growth goals.
- Build, mentor, and lead high‑performing teams across production, maintenance and packaging.
- Assess current operational technologies and lead the deployment of advanced systems and software solutions that streamline workflows, enhance data visibility, and strengthen overall operational performance.
- Ensure operations adhere to GMP, FDA, NSF, and industry regulatory requirements.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles to increase throughput, quality, and efficiency.
- Oversee capacity planning, production scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate closely with Quality and Regulatory teams to maintain strict compliance with nutraceutical standards.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, batch record accuracy, sanitation standards, documentation, and audit readiness.
- Drive a culture of quality‑first thinking throughout the organization.
- Oversee all packaging lines including bottling, labeling, kitting, shrink wrap, and secondary packaging.
- Optimize packaging workflows and ensure packaging quality, consistency, and speed.
- Provide oversight of fulfillment operations—pick/pack, warehousing, and shipping—while maintaining manufacturing as the organizational priority.
- Improve fulfillment workflow efficiency by optimizing warehouse layout, material flow, and picking strategies to reduce lead times and errors.
- Implement systems and processes that ensure accurate order tracking, inventory visibility, and seamless coordination between manufacturing output and customer shipments.
- Set and track KPIs including OEE, yield, scrap, labor efficiency, throughput, and cost per unit.
- Prepare and present operational reports and performance metrics to the executive team.
- Manage the operational budget and forecast resource needs.
- Work closely with Sales, R&D/Formula Development, Customer Service, and Finance to deliver seamless product launches and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in strategic planning and provide operational insights to guide company direction.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in nutraceutical, dietary supplements, pharmaceutical, or food/beverage manufacturing.
- Proven track record managing capsule, tablet, liquid, stick pack, or similar processing equipment.
- Strong background in GMP manufacturing and regulatory compliance.
