Join Precision Assembly as a Quality Inspector in American Fork, earning $17/hour with an excellent Monday-Thursday schedule. You'll ensure top-quality circuit card assemblies and mechanical components meet strict industry standards in a precision manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do- Perform in-process, finished, and incoming inspections on circuit card assemblies and mechanical components
- Conduct functional testing to verify products meet customer specifications
- Use microscopes and automated inspection equipment for detailed quality analysis
- Execute first article inspections and document results in online quality databases
- Evaluate products against IPC-A-610 standards, technical drawings, and customer requirements
- Provide technical feedback to operators, supervisors, and engineers
- Support training initiatives for new and current team members
- Serve as the customer advocate throughout the quality process
- Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, PC board data, and BOMs
- Proficiency with computers and MS Office 365
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use microscopes and magnification equipment continuously
- Understanding of quality principles and customer satisfaction standards
- IPC-A-610 certification
- J-STD-001 training
- Experience in electronics contract manufacturing
- Electronic soldering assembly skills
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Systems
Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional Friday overtime opportunities
Pay & Compensation$17.00 per hour
