MD Property Services, Inc. – located in American Fork, UT ) is hiring 50 temporary, full time Landscape Installation Helper positions starting on 04/01/2026 and ending on 11/30/2026.
DUTIES- Assist with installation of landscape projects.
- Prepare job sites by digging, grading, removing debris, and moving materials.
- Install sod, plants, shrubs, trees, mulch, and topsoil under supervision.
- Use basic hand tools including shovels, rakes, pruners, and wheelbarrows.
- Assist with irrigation trenching and placing PVC pipe as directed (no system design or layout).
- Transport materials such as soil, gravel, and plants.
- Load and unload tools, supplies, and debris.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas.
- Follow supervisor instructions and company safety procedures.
- Work performed outdoors in variable weather conditions.
Must be 18 years old due to equipment use and show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Must be drug/alcohol/tobacco free. Must be able, willing, and qualified to perform the work described, and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment. Must be capable of physically strenuous labor for long hours, occasionally in extreme heat or cold.
TERMS& CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Workers will be paid no less than $20.19/hr overtime hours will be paid at $30.29. Monday–Friday 7:00 am–5:00 pm. Overtime and weekends may be available depending on weather and workload. Workers are responsible for daily transportation to and from the company shop or may report directly to the worksite if indicated by the employer. The employer will provide daily transportation among the worksite locations.
Work will be performed in multiple worksites throughout Utah and Salt Lake counties. No education required. Three (3) months experience required in landscape installation.
Employer will make all deductions required by law from each paycheck. Workers will be paid every two weeks by check. Raises and/or bonuses at the employer's discretion. Returning workers and workers with more experience may be paid higher wage rates. Opportunity for higher pay dependent upon experience. Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
Transportation and subsistence (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) from the place of recruitment to the place of employment will be reimbursed, if the worker completes 50% of the work contract period. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment.
The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68 per day with receipts. Employer will provide, without charge or deposit, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job duties.
The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-quarters of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. The offered wage equals or exceeds the highest prevailing wage that was used by the DOL. This job is in connection with a future H-2B Foreign Labor Certification application.
