15 temporary, full time irrigation laborers starting on 04/01/2026 and ending on 11/30/2026

Workers will install, inspect, test, and repair irrigation systems using hand and power tools such as trenching shovels, pipe cutters, PVC glue/primer tools, measuring tapes, wire tracers, multimeters, pressure gauges, hand‑held power drills. Workers will dig trenches for irrigation lines; trenches typically range from approximately 3–6 inches wide and 6–12 inches deep depending on pipe size and site requirements. Materials handled include PVC pipe, poly pipe, drip tubing, valves, valve boxes, controllers/clocks, fittings, emitters, sprinkler heads, and related irrigation components.

Workers will operate a company truck to travel to job sites and may transport irrigation tools and materials. Must be 18 due to equipment use, show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States, and comply with the drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Perform physical activities such as lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, push, pull, carry objects up to 50lbs (possible 2‑person).

All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perform the described work and available for the entire period specified. Outdoor work with exposure to weather; capable of physically strenuous labor for long hours, occasionally in extreme heat/cold. Variable weather conditions apply; hours may fluctuate (+/–), possible downtime and/or overtime.

Workers will be paid no less than $20.19/hr with overtime at $30.29. Monday‑Friday 8am‑6pm; overtime and weekends may be available depending on weather and workload. Workers are responsible for daily transportation to/from the company shop or may be awarded daily transportation among work sites. Work will be performed in multiple sites throughout Utah, Salt Lake, Weber, Davis counties.

No education required. 3 months experience required.

Employer will make all deductions required by law from each paycheck. Workers will be paid every two weeks by check. Raises and/or bonuses at employer's discretion; returning workers and those with more experience may earn higher rates.

Employer will reimburse H‑2B workers for visa, processing, border crossing and other related fees in the first workweek, and transportation and subsistence if the worker completes 50% of the work contract period. Upon completion or early dismissal, employer will pay reasonable return transportation and subsistence costs back home. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel up to a maximum of $68 per day with receipts.

Employer will provide all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform job duties. The employer guarantees work for hours equal to at least three‑fourths of the workdays in each 12‑week period of the total employment period. The offered wage equals or exceeds the highest prevailing wage issued by DOL. This job is in connection with a future H‑2B Foreign Labor Certification application.
