Since pioneering our first mobile, solar‑powered units, our commitment to hands‑on innovation has made us an established leader and one of the fastest‑growing companies in intelligent site technology. We are building the next generation of solutions—from our physical units in the field to a powerful Agentic AI platform—that allows our customers to gain unprecedented visibility and control over safety, compliance, and operations.
This is your chance to join a cutting‑edge team that isn’t just watching the world change, but actively building the technology that is changing it.
We’re a team that’s focused on growth and innovation, and we’re proud that our crew, products, and leadership are being recognized for it.
ABOUT THIS ROLEAs a Senior Cloud Engineer at LVT, you will be a primary architect of the infrastructure that powers our global fleet of intelligent units and our sophisticated Agentic AI platform. You will bridge the gap between software and physical hardware, ensuring our AWS environment is scalable, secure, and resilient. If you are passionate about Git Ops, complex networking, and “infrastructure as code” as a standard, you will find a home here.
This role is based in‑office out of our Headquarters in American Fork, Utah.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure within AWS to support our AI and IoT ecosystems.
- Drive automation by developing and maintaining robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, reducing manual overhead and ensuring environment consistency.
- Orchestrate containerized workloads using Kubernetes, managing cluster health, scaling, and performance optimization.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines via Git Hub Actions and ArgoCD to enable seamless, automated deployments across multiple environments.
- Engineer complex networking solutions to ensure secure, low‑latency communication between our cloud infrastructure and physical units in the field.
- Build internal and custom tooling to empower the broader engineering team and streamline operational workflows.
- Enhance observability by implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks that provide deep visibility into system health.
- Lead technical design reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members, acting as a subject‑matter expert on cloud‑native best practices.
- Senior‑level engineer with deep experience in AWS core services and preferably some exposure to Azure or other cloud providers.
- Hands‑on experience managing production Kubernetes clusters with a strong grasp of container orchestration nuances.
- Expert in Terraform, believing that repetitive tasks are best automated.
- Proven track record using Git Hub Actions and ArgoCD to manage sophisticated deployment life cycles.
- Strong understanding of advanced networking concepts, including VPCs, VPNs, routing, and security protocols.
- Proficient in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Go, or Bash) for creating custom automation tools.
- Scrappy, innovative mindset capable of troubleshooting complex distributed systems under pressure.
- Clear communicator who can explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
The beginning annual salary range for this role is $140,000 – $190,000 USD and is determined by location, job‑related experience, and education/training. Your total earning potential is amplified by a bonus structure tied to meeting goals, and you will become an owner from day one through our employee equity program.
BENEFITSWe invest in our crew’s health, families, and financial futures with a benefits package designed to support you inside and outside the office. Full‑time benefits include comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage; retirement benefits (401(k) match up to 4%); and flexible PTO.
