As a Software Engineer I at LVT, you will help build and test the software that powers our intelligent site technology alongside a team of world‑class engineers. You will jump straight into writing clean code, shipping real features, and contributing directly to products that make the physical world safer. This role is designed for a collaborative, curious engineer eager to master modern architecture, learn from senior mentorship, and scale their career within a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.

This role is based full‑time in‑office out of our headquarters in American Fork, Utah.

• Write and test clean, maintainable, efficient code to support core software development efforts.
• Debug and optimize software to ensure optimal performance and system reliability.
• Collaborate closely with senior engineers and team leads to master our architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Work with product, QA, and operations teams to support seamless software integration and reliable deployments.
• Actively participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and code reviews to foster a continuous delivery mindset.
• Conduct research on new technologies, frameworks, and tools to continuously elevate your engineering contributions.

• 0–2 years of experience in software development, including professional internships, bootcamps, or strong personal projects.
• Foundational exposure to backend development, preferably using Node.js and Type Script.
• Solid understanding of Git and version‑control workflows.
• Basic conceptual knowledge of APIs, databases, and modern development tools (Docker, CI/CD pipelines).
• Analytical problem‑solving mindset with a willingness to dig into complex logic and ask insightful questions.
• Excellent communication skills and a team‑first attitude that values transparency, collaboration, and constructive feedback.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
