ABOUT LVT

LVT is redefining how businesses operate in the physical world, moving beyond traditional security solutions to deliver AI‑driven actionable intelligence that makes sites smarter, safer, and more secure. Since pioneering our first mobile, solar‑powered units, our commitment to scrappy, hands‑on innovation has made us an established leader and one of the fastest‑growing companies in intelligent site technology. We are building the next generation of solutions—from our physical units in the field to a powerful Agentic AI platform—that allows our customers to gain unprecedented visibility and control over safety, compliance, and operations.

This is your chance to join a cutting‑edge team that isn't just watching the world change, but actively building the technology that is changing it.

We’re a team that’s focused on growth and innovation, and we’re proud that our crew, products, and leadership are being recognized for it.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a Senior Cloud Engineer at LVT, you will be a primary architect of the infrastructure that powers our global fleet of intelligent units and our sophisticated Agentic AI platform. We are looking for a high‑level individual contributor who thrives on building elegant, automated systems rather than just maintaining them. You will bridge the gap between software and physical hardware, ensuring our AWS environment is scalable, secure, and resilient.

If you are passionate about Git Ops, complex networking, and "infrastructure as code" as a standard, you will find a home here.

This role is based in‑office out of our Headquarters in American Fork, Utah.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Architect and Implement scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure within AWS to support our rapidly expanding AI and IoT ecosystems.
  • Drive Automation by developing and maintaining robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, reducing manual overhead and ensuring environment consistency.
  • Orchestrate Containerized Workloads using Kubernetes, managing cluster health, scaling, and performance optimization.
  • Develop CI/CD Pipelines via Git Hub Actions and ArgoCD to enable seamless, automated deployments across multiple environments.
  • Engineer Complex Networking Solutions to ensure secure, low‑latency communication between our cloud infrastructure and physical units in the field.
  • Build Internal Tooling and custom tooling to empower the broader engineering team and streamline operational workflows.
  • Enhance Observability by implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks that provide deep visibility into system health.
  • Lead Technical Design Reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members, acting as a subject matter expert on cloud‑native best practices.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Cloud Expert: You are a senior‑level engineer with experience engineering complex environments within AWS and hold a deep understanding of its core services. Ideally you also have some experience in Azure and other cloud providers as well.
  • Kubernetes Veteran: You possess hands‑on experience managing production Kubernetes clusters and understand the nuances of container orchestration.
  • Automation Enthusiast: You are an expert with Terraform and believe that if a task is done twice, it should be automated.
  • Git Ops Practitioner: You have a proven track record of using Git Hub Actions and ArgoCD to manage sophisticated deployment life cycles.
  • Network Architect: You have a strong grasp of advanced networking concepts, including VPCs, VPNs, routing, and security protocols.
  • Tool Builder: You are proficient in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Go, or Bash) for creating custom automation tools.
  • Problem Solver: You possess a "scrappy" innovative mindset, capable of troubleshooting complex distributed systems under pressure.
  • Collaborator: You communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, fostering a culture of transparency.
BENEFITS

We believe you do your best work when your whole life is supported. We invest in our crew’s health, families, and financial futures with a benefits package designed to support you inside and outside the office. Full‑time benefits include, but are not limited to:
Comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage, retirement benefits (401k match up to 4%), and flexible PTO.
