The City of Americus is seeking a Financial Specialist in the Finance Department to perform mid-level accounting and administrative work supporting financial operations. The role requires independent judgment across bank reconciliations, grant administration, rate analysis, and annual audit preparation.
Education and experience:
a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting and at least two years of government accounting experience; knowledge of GAAP and GASB guidelines is a plus.
