Job SummaryThe Office of Student Financial Aid seeks a federal work study student assistant to assist with daily duties. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands‑on experience while developing essential career readiness skills, including effective communication, collaboration, problem solving, professionalism, and digital literacy.
Required Qualifications- Must have completed a 25/26 FAFSA and be eligible.
- Must be enrolled in at least 6 hours during the summer.
- Extends excellent customer service to faculty, staff, students, and visitors.
- Provide user assistance in labs.
- Assists in updating webpages.
- Prepares and files documents.
- Completes tasks including typing, copying, faxing, shredding, etc.
- Creates brochures, flyers, forms, surveys, etc.
- Prepares activity reports and similar documents.
- Prepares and maintains spreadsheets.
- Runs errands on campus.
- Reports time daily.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
- Ability to concurrently handle both curricular and extra‑curricular assignments.
