Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Proven experience conducting assessments, evaluations, and developing interventions for students
• In-depth understanding of educational laws and regulations, including IDEA and Section 504
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents, faculty, and support teams
• Experience with both individual and group counseling is highly valued
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in sensitive situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out comprehensive psycho educational assessments and communicate results to facilitate student success
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans
• Provide direct counseling and intervention services to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students
• Assist in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and the development of positive behavioral intervention strategies
• Offer consultative guidance to faculty and parents regarding student learning and behavioral issues
• Contribute to data-driven decision-making processes to support school-wide mental health initiatives
