Job SummaryThis position fosters student engagement and success by promoting a campus culture of responsibility, well-being, and safety. It administers the university’s Student Code of Conduct and local, state, and federal Title IX policies, serves as a primary point of contact for student wellbeing and crisis response, and ensures compliance with federal and state laws in the area of Student Conduct and Title IX.
Responsibilities- Direct student rights and responsibilities programs and services (50%)
- Manage student conduct, student Title IX, wellbeing outreach, crisis response coordination, and preventive programs.
- Administer the Student Conduct Code; coordinate annual conduct code review and updates; administer Student Conduct Code processes.
- Communicate Student Conduct/Title IX processes with relevant communities.
- Provide guidance and support for student grievances.
- Advocate for students with university departments and programs.
- Serve as a liaison between students and constituents so that student issues are comprehensively addressed effectively.
- Facilitate and coordinate preventive programs related to behavior concerns.
- Maintain, coordinate, and present information on Student Conduct and Title IX to various audiences (20%)
- Coordinate conduct and Title IX information to students.
- Promote education about policies to audiences through various means.
- Follow up with students to ensure conduct sanctions are implemented.
- Identify, investigate, assess, manage, and monitor complex student cases emerging from multiple sources.
- Assist with onsite response to students in crisis situations concerning conduct and Title IX.
- Provide support for other university programs and activities and related duties (15%)
- Lead divisional programming for responsibility and accountability.
- Attend university-sponsored student programs as appropriate.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support university and DSES priorities and initiatives.
- Seek and communicate community partners and resources for GSW students.
- Maintain required knowledge in the field (15%)
- Keep abreast of best practices related to student conduct, crisis response, and behavior intervention.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of student development and engagement best practices.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of federal, state, USG, and university policies and regulations related to Student Success.
- Seek training certification in areas related to job responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of experience in student conduct in higher education or Title IX, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- GSW and University System of Georgia policies and procedures.
- Related federal policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.
- Best practices in the field of student services.
- Student development theory.
- Institutional policies and procedures related to the Student Code of Conduct.

- Operation of computers and job‑related software programs.
