Qualifications

  • 2‑year Associate Degree in Nursing from a state accredited school (Required)
  • 4‑year Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
Work Experience
  • 1+ years Nursing Experience (Preferred)
Licenses and Certifications
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current Georgia license
Essential Functions
  • Provide professional standards in practicing nursing.
  • Collect comprehensive data pertinent to patient’s health or the situation.
  • Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis or issues.
  • Identify expected outcomes and develop an individualized plan.
  • Implement the identified plan and evaluate progress toward outcomes.

Care Planning and Implementation

  • Consult with healthcare providers and make referrals as appropriate.

  • Conform to required style and format.
RN – Nursing ANA Code of Ethics
  • Accountable for individual practice and delegation to provide optimum care.

Additional Duties
  • Adhere to the hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines.
  • Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and vision of the organization.
  • Perform other duties as required and complete all job functions per departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (e.g., self‑education, ongoing educational programs).
  • Attend staff meetings and complete mandatory in‑services and competency evaluations on time.
  • Demonstrate competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs.
  • For non‑clinical areas, attend training and demonstrate usage of age‑specific customer service skills.
  • Wear protective clothing and equipment as appropriate.
