MIG WELDER

The Staffing People is seeking an experienced Production MIG Welder to join our fast‑paced, safety‑driven manufacturing team in Americus, GA. This full‑time position offers a competitive hourly wage based on experience.

As a MIG Welder you will fabricate and assemble components from various metals based on blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols. You will work closely with team members to meet production targets while ensuring each weld meets quality and safety standards.

• Perform MIG welding on metal components as outlined in production plans
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to understand job requirements
• Set up, adjust, and maintain MIG welding equipment for efficient operation
• Inspect welds for strength and accuracy to meet industry and internal quality standards
• Troubleshoot welding issues and make necessary corrections
• Follow all safety guidelines and contribute to a clean, organized work environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and daily production goals
• Participate in training to stay up‑to‑date on techniques and procedures

• Prior MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Basic welding tool knowledge and ability to operate welding equipment safely
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Reliable, professional, and strong work ethic
• Familiarity with safety guidelines and clean work environment practices
