For one year, you can get paid to help build sustainable solutions in the community, gain valuable hands on experience and prepare for your future. With Habitat Ameri Corps, you can serve in your community or in several locations through the United States.
Serve on an active build site or at a local Habitat office assisting homeowner families, volunteers and staff members. Help strengthen communities through a year of service with Habitat Ameri Corps.
Member Duties:
The family services development VISTA member researches and implements a plan for homeowner family recruitment, tracking, scheduling and support with the goal to improve the overall experience for participants. This could include designing a user-friendly application process, creating a comprehensive homeowner curriculum that prepares families for home ownership, or developing a plan to engage the local veteran and military community in Habitat's mission and the housing solutions provided.

Responsibilities- Support and implement a plan for homeowner family recruitment, tracking, scheduling and participant support with the goal of improving the overall experience for participants.
Permits attendance at school during off hours; car recommended; permits working at another job during off hours.
