• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Must hold a Georgia RN license or an eNLC Compact Multistate RN license.
• Patient‑to‑staff ratio of 1:2.
• EMR: upgraded mouse‑driven version of Meditech.
• Tele/monitor technicians and respiratory therapists support the unit; ventilator management performed by RTs.
• Common diagnoses: sepsis, pneumonia, COPD, CHF, pulmonary embolism.
• Will float to other acute‑care units (e.g., Emergency or Acute Care) if competent.
