Job Summary

This position is responsible for directing the university
¿ s institutional research functions.

Responsibilities

* Prepares and provides accurate and reliable data, statistics, and reports for internal and external stakeholders. (45%)

* Provides support and analysis for a variety of institutional reporting functions.

* Communicates and presents data and study results to appropriate stakeholders.

* Collects, organizes, edits, maintains, and validates data needed for accurate and consistent data reporting, institutional study, and data-drive decision making. (20%)

* Reviews data, information, research, and policy studies to anticipate research questions and data needs.

* Communicates and presents issues related to data use and integrity to appropriate stakeholders.

* Performs basic and advanced analyses. (15%)

* Performs basic analysis such as summing, totaling, and descriptive statistics.

* Performs advanced analysis such as inferential statistics, forecasting, and predictive modeling.

* Completes professional development activities. (10%)

* Completes training and workshops, reads professional literature, and attends conferences and meetings to develop knowledge and skills necessary to improve data, information, and analysis for decision-making support.

* Performs a variety of related duties. (10%)

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

Master's degree in a course of study related to the occupational field required.

Required Experience

More than three years of related experience required.
