Food and Consumable associates are focused on customer service and creative merchandising. They move incoming merchandise onto the sales floor and create seasonal display features to meet customer needs.

• Provide front‑line customer service in deli, bakery, or dry grocery departments.
• Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food and cake orders.
• Stock displays and pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers.
• Perform detailed cleaning, temperature control checks, date verification, and disposal of lower quality food.
• Ensure high quality products are available in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments.
• Help customers locate products and answer questions.
• Keep the workspace clean, sanitized, and ready for customers.

• Strong customer‑service orientation.
• Attention to quality and safety standards.
• Ability to work quickly in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Physical stamina to lift, stand, and move throughout the day.
• Teamwork and clear communication skills.
