Pay and Benefits- Starting salary of $28-$34.00 per hour depending on experience

Hours and Location- Monday – Friday every week
- Start at 7:00 am to 6:30 pm
- No weekends
- We offer stable hours for financial security and work-life balance
- Repair/maintenance shop at Americus, GA hauling site
As a Diesel Mechanic, you’ll fix trucks and equipment that service over 20 million customers across the USA. You’ll work with modern tools and procedures to deliver maintenance on diesel equipment and, at some locations, on the growing fleet of CNG trucks.
- Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment
- Estimate time and material costs for repairs and parts
- Work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs)
- Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns
- Perform safety checks; prioritize the safety of employees and the community
- Complete required paperwork, document parts usage, and repair times
- Assist senior mechanics with project work
- Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Be over 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations
- Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
