City of Americus is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic in the Shop Department to inspect, diagnose and repair vehicles, trucks and heavy equipment. You will perform diagnostics on brakes, engines, hydraulics and electrical systems, service fluids, replace parts and operate service trucks.
Requires a high school diploma or GED with automotive technology coursework and at least one year of automotive maintenance/repair experience.
