Team Lead to coach and develop our Tender & Contracts coordinators that support the sales of our medical devices in Northern Europe and Scandinavian countries.
In this varied and crucial role, you are ultimately responsible for the correct administration of our sales agreements with groups of public and private hospitals across UK, Ireland, Norway, Danmark, Sweden and Finland. You empower your team, make sure day-to-day activities are efficiently prioritized and that KPIs are met. As the link between the department and the rest of the organization, you also coordinate escalations to internal and external stakeholders.
Additionally, you provide mid‑term strategy, and plan business continuity and succession.
Within Applied Medical, this role has the title of Team Leader Tender & Contracts, and reports to the Manager Tender & Contracts. - Provide mentorship, feedback, and support to help team members grow and thrive
- Plan for succession, recruitment, onboarding, and training to ensure long‑term team resilience and business continuity
- Set clear goals aligned with departmental strategy and ensure timely execution
- Assign responsibilities, monitor team and individual performance to maintain high standards of accountability and quality
- Navigate a highly regulated environment by promoting compliance, maintaining internal procedures and recommending improvements
- Build and maintain understanding of public procurement in healthcare in the jurisdictions under your responsibility, assess and promote compliance accordingly
- Advise (senior) sales leadership on how to approach contract requirements
- Navigate interactions with local sales teams as well as departments based in Amersfoort with diplomacy — balancing assertiveness with empathy to foster productive collaboration.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership position
- At least 3 years of experience in a deadline‑driven position, ideally in sales support, project management, or procurement
- Professional experience in an international environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Nice‑to‑have:
Knowledge of Danish, Norwegian or Swedish is considered a strong advantage - Nice‑to‑have:
Experience with SAP is considered an advantage
