About Orthopaedics

Our Orthopaedics teams help keep more than 6 million people moving each year while delivering clinical and economic value to surgeons and healthcare systems. Our teams build solutions for joint reconstruction; trauma and craniomaxillofacial; sports, extremities, and elective foot and ankle;

spine; and robotics and digital surgery. Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

Key Responsibilities

Takes full ownership of the territory and assigned accounts and meets defined targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives.

Establishes productive, professional relationships with the Key customers including Orthopaedic Surgeons, Neurosurgeons and Trauma surgeons, nurses, operating management, professional associations and purchase departments.

Coordinates the involvement of all internal partners, including customer service, supply chain, marketing & strategic capabilities to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.

Actively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis in order to identify actionable insights to enhance results and accelerate conversions.

Translates insights into actions that challenge the status quo and that reinforce our competitive advantage.

Manages contracting, pricing and tendering processes in the assigned accounts.

Lead offer/project negotiation, resulting in timely contract closure.

Ability to lead and link One Medical Devices capabilities to deliver business value beyond products.

Be responsible for annual bottom-up business plan.

Requirements

Master’s degree in (para) medical, economics, management or equal by experience.

Ability to work with tools like Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sales force, etc.

Understanding and application of corporate behavior.

Can-do attitude. Challenging the status-quo.

Eager to learn and develop. Growth mindset.

Business & commercially driven. Patient oriented.

Strategic Thinking. Handling complex projects.

Preferred

Successful sales experience within the medical devices sector, preferably in Orthopaedics and or Spine.
