  • Proven Experience in Project Management: A strong background in managing Fire and Security installations, from design through to completion.
  • Technical Expertise:
    Comprehensive knowledge of Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and Door Entry systems. Familiarity with Smart Home automation technology is a bonus.
  • Networking

    Skills:

    Understanding of IP networking, including configuration and troubleshooting of networked Fire and Security systems.
  • Attention to Detail:
    Exceptional skills in planning and overseeing high-spec installations, ensuring quality and precision in every project.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues on-site, maintaining high standards of service delivery.
  • Organisational

    Skills:

    Strong ability to manage multiple ongoing projects, ensuring all are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Licensing and Software Knowledge:
    Familiarity with project management tools such as Fieldwire or similar and proficient use of Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Full UK Driving Licence:
    Essential for site visits and project management tasks.

  • £45,000 - £65,000 basic salary (dependent on experience).

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Project Manager to join our client and lead the delivery of cutting‑edge Fire and Security system installations. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from small installations starting at £5k to high‑value, large‑scale undertakings up to £2m. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring their clients receive top‑quality service, with projects completed on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards.

You'll Be Doing
  • End‑to‑End Project Leadership:
    Managing every phase of multiple projects, including client communication, estimating, procurement, and resourcing.
  • High‑Quality Delivery:
    Overseeing installations for Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and Door Entry Systems, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Commercial Focus:
    Maintaining strict budgetary controls while delivering exceptional results, identifying and costing any variations to specifications, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Risk Management:

    Proactively identifying and mitigating potential project risks to keep operations smooth and efficient.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Building and nurturing relationships with clients, engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring open communication throughout each project's lifecycle.

    Experience:

    A proven track record in project management within the Fire & Security sector, including high‑end residential, retail, and commercial contracts.
  • Technical Expertise:
    Strong knowledge of Fire Alarms, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control, and Door Entry systems, with a willingness to learn about Smart Home automation technology.
  • Leadership

    Skills:

    The ability to inspire and manage a team of engineers and subcontractors across multiple projects.
  • Organisational Prowess:
    Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, Excel, and project management software such as Fieldwire.
  • Client‑Focused Mindset:
    Outstanding communication skills and a commitment to providing an excellent customer experience.

    Comfortable managing contracts from £20k to £2m and handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
