Senior Vehicle Technician

£40,000 Basic Salary + Bonus (OTE £45,000)
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm
No Weekends

An established and growing independent automotive specialist is seeking an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join its highly regarded workshop team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys fault finding, diagnostics, and carrying out repairs to a high standard in a professional, quality-focused environment. Experience with European vehicle brands would be advantageous, although technicians from main dealer or independent backgrounds will also be considered.

You will be responsible for a varied workload including:

• Vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
• Mechanical repairs and component replacement
• Advanced diagnostics and fault finding
• Electrical and mechanical repair work
• Vehicle health checks and inspections
• Identifying additional repair requirements
• Quality control and final checks
• Supporting junior technicians when required
• Liaising with the service team regarding repairs and recommendations

To be considered, you should have:

• NVQ/IMI Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
• Strong mechanical repair and servicing experience
• Proven diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Several years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician
• A methodical approach to vehicle diagnosis
• High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Full UK driving licence

• £40,000 basic salary
• Performance-related bonus (OTE circa £45,000)
• Monday-Friday working only
