Accounts Payable Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of supporting documentation.
• Match invoices to delivery tickets, purchase orders, contracts, and other supporting records.
• Verify pricing and sales tax calculations.
• Assign appropriate cost codes and route invoices for approval.
• Set up and maintain subcontract and purchase order commitments.
• Prepare weekly vendor payment runs, including checks, lien waivers, and remittance documentation.
• Assist with month-end close activities and account reconciliations.
• Review vendor statements and communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and reconcile accounts.
• Track, reconcile, and process company credit card transactions.
• Provide accurate and timely financial information to project and operational teams.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and increase efficiency.
• Participate in regular team meetings and planning sessions.
