Job Overview
Q3 Contracting (Q3C), a division of Primoris Services Corporation, is a publicly owned and operated construction contracting company that provides both specific and turnkey services for customers in the gas, oil, electric and telecommunications industries.
We are hiring an Administrative Assistant for our Ames, IA office.
Key Responsibilities- Data Entry
- Process and manage utility locate requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Prepare, submit, and track permit requests
- Maintain various Excel tracking sheets
- Adapt to changing business needs by taking on additional responsibilities as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Intermediate computer skills
- Effective organizational skills
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills, both telephone and in person
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to always maintain confidentiality
- Treat people with respect and uphold organizational values
- Follow policies and procedures
- Complete tasks correctly and on time
- Prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently
- Ability to consistently meet or exceed deadlines
- Ability to deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events
Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00/hour (DOE)
