We are seeking a creative, hands-on In-House Video Producer to lead both in-studio productions and on-site agricultural client video projects. This full-time, primarily in-person role is based at our Ames, Iowa studio, with frequent travel to client locations across Iowa and neighboring states. A strong on-site presence is essential, as this role regularly supports agricultural clients at farms, agribusiness facilities, industry events, and corporate offices.
The role includes producing high-quality video and audio content, supporting podcast and interview recordings, and contributing to the continued growth of our studio operations. As the studio expands, this individual will also take on leadership responsibilities overseeing production workflows and resources.
The ideal candidate is technically skilled, creative, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working directly with clients in agricultural and agribusiness settings. Familiarity with agriculture or agribusiness is strongly preferred, as we serve clients in this sector.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and support in-studio video and audio productions, including podcasts, interviews, and branded content.
- Capture on-location video at agricultural client sites (farms, production facilities, industry events, and corporate offices; travel within Iowa and neighboring states required).
- Edit and produce polished, professional video and audio deliverables using a variety of editing software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition) and Canva.
- Support digital media content and light graphic design needs for client marketing and communication projects.
- Troubleshoot audio and video issues in real time.
- Help design, build, and maintain studio equipment and efficient production workflows.
- Manage media files, storage systems, and content delivery.
- Recommend equipment upgrades and studio improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and professionalism across all video and audio output.
- Assist in defining and documenting studio standards, workflows, and best practices.
- Bring creativity to video storytelling, editing, and production processes.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced recording environments, both in studio and on location.
- Work confidently with agricultural clients, providing clear technical guidance and on-camera support during on-site productions.
- Embrace new technology and production methods with curiosity and adaptability.

- Developing scalable studio systems to support future growth.
- Prepare the studio for recordings and client sessions.
- Travel to agricultural client sites for on-location video shoots.
- Assist clients with camera, lighting, and microphone setup in both studio and field environments.
- Operate video and audio during live or recorded sessions.
- Edit and finalize deliverables using a variety of professional editing tools.
- Meet with internal teams to plan upcoming agricultural client shoots or studio improvements.
- Research and evaluate new production tools and technologies.
- 5+ years of professional experience in video production, multimedia storytelling, or related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of lighting, sound design, framing, and multi-camera production.
- 3+ years of professional experience in video production, multimedia storytelling, or related field.
