We are seeking a special education teacher who currently holds a Strat II endorsement in special education. The role is designed for an educator who understands that 3rd grade is the critical bridge for development of writing and math concepts prior to entering 4th grade. This position is reserved for teachers interested in growing into this role and may hold a general education license and be willing to apply for a conditional temporary license.
The teacher will work with any teachers who are interested in growing into this position and will collaborate with two general education 3rd grade teachers. The candidate should attain a caring and positive mindset to work with students and parents and build a classroom environment that encourages learning from mistakes and establishes boundaries. Support will be provided by a PLC led by an experienced instructional coach and building administration.
Job RequirementsPosition requires immediate availability, full-time commitment, and a Strat II special education endorsement.
