Associate Boys Cross Country Coach (Job )
Location:
Ames High School | Posted: 6/3/2026 | Closing Date: 06/17/2026
During the season, the work schedule will be 2-3 hours daily Monday–Friday. Various nights and weekends are also required for meets.
Responsibilities- Assist coaching staff in running a competitive cross country program.
- Follow and maintain knowledge of all District policies and procedures.
- Abide by strict confidentiality at all times.
- Current Department of Education Coaching Authorization (see http://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). for how to obtain it).
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Experience coaching high school cross country (preferred).
- Create a sense of belonging and welcoming environment for all athletes, families, and staff.
- Attend work consistently and punctually.
$1,434 season stipend.
