** Summary of

Duties and Responsibilities:

** The Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa seeks a lecturer to teach the school's professional orientation course and serve as a faculty mentor to undergraduate students. The successful candidate will teach up to three 1-credit sections per semester of an introductory class preparing students to engage with the school's academic and co-curricular programming.

Adherence to programmatic goals and curriculum objectives is required, as the school is accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications (ACEJMC).
* Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.*##

Minimum Qualifications:

*** Master's degree in related field.
* Two years of professional experience in advertising, public relations, journalism, sports media, or education.##

* Additional professional experience beyond the required amount in advertising, journalism, public relations, sports media, or education##
