The Utilities Department at Iowa State University seeks a Utility Plant Operator I to join a 24/7 operation. You will assist in operating gas/oil-fired boilers and auxiliary systems, perform rounds, document readings, and support maintenance and cleanliness across the power plant campus.
Strong safety adherence, mechanical aptitude, and effective communication are essential. Experience with DCS/PLCs is preferred, with a path toward Boiler Operator certification highly valued.
