Now is a great time to join our Danfoss Power Solutions Team! We are currently hiring an experienced Supply Chain Specialist, this is an analytical and project-based role focused on logistics, warehousing, transportation, trade compliance and customer service globally. This is an onsite position that can work from either Ames, IAor Caxias du Sol, Brazil.
What You’ll Be DoingResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Optimize Danfoss’ logistics setup and process
- Support logistics initiatives focused on warehousing, transportation and trade compliance
- Develop and implement logistics concepts reducing cost to serve and improving delivery services; including changes to the SAP setup where needed
- Projects - including TIP plans, documentation and presentations
- Participating in cross-functional improvement projects on local, regional or global level
- Alignment across Danfoss Segments, Regions and Functions
- Ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget
- Acting as System knowledge expert (SME) – supporting as a central competency
- Supporting established KPI’s with follow up structure (PDCA)
- Able to travel (Domestic w/ limited International)
Required Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with SAP
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an analytical supply chain role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, to include power point and excel
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent experience
- Experience in Logistics, Sales, Sourcing or Supply Chain
