McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a Lab Assistant for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and able to provide extraordinary care every day to our patients.

Ames, IA
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (10 hours per week)
The pathology laboratory assistant is responsible for specimen accessioning, preparation, and administration assistance in the pathology lab as it relates to specimens, blocks and slides.
EducationHigh School Diploma, GED or HiSET
Experience & Qualifications- On-the-job training provided.
- Some knowledge in human anatomy and/or medical terminology or previous healthcare experience preferred.
- Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
