McFarland Clinic is currently accepting application for CMA/LPN for its Sports Medicine Department. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, treat athletes to assist in recovery from injury and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities include greeting patients, completing room process (chief complaint, obtaining vital signs, medication review), assisting providers with exams/procedures and educating patients on provider recommendations and instructions, calling patients, providing excellent customer service, stocking rooms, safe administration and documentation of vaccines/injections/immunizations as well as other nursing responsibilities as delegated.
Education
- Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Certification/License
- Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), NAHP, NCCT, NHA
- Possession of State Licensed Practical Nurse license.
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
- Mandatory Reporting of Dependent Adult and Child Abuse.
Days:Monday - Friday. Optional Days OFF on Tuesday/Thursday
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Experience
- Previous hospital, clinic, or medical office experience preferred but not required.
Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
