McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for Receptionist/Patient Registration Rep for its West Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and able to provide extraordinary care every day to our patients.
Responsibilities: Maintains reception desk activities, including greeting, scheduling, and instructing patients and visitors in accordance with McFarland Clinic’s Core Values and Promise. Also handles additional business office responsibilities.
Education: High School Diploma, GED or HiSET.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Experience:
- Prefer one year of work experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
- Keyboard and computer experience.
- Completion of Medical Terminology class required within one year of employment.
- Receptionist experience preferred, but not required.
Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
