Responsibilities- Perform duties related to pharmaceutical billing, physician coding and clinic charging procedures in accordance with McFarland Clinic’s Employee-Level Vision Related Behaviors.
- Audit daily charges for infusional therapies.
- Obtain insurance precertification of infusional drugs.
- Counsel patients on cost estimates of treatment.
- Enroll patients in available financial assistance programs.
- Serve as a coding and reimbursement resource for providers and nurses.
- High School Diploma, GED or HiSET.
- Associate degree in business or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years in medical experience with exposure to coding activities.
Days:
Monday - Friday.
Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
