Systems Engineer
Define, document, and communicate features, boundaries, and acceptance criteria for the Operations Center, translating customer needs into clear and traceable requirements for global development teams;
Lead Solution/Engineering Reviews, presenting alternatives, trade-offs, and system impacts; align Product Management, Architecture, UX, and development teams before engineering work begins;
Act as a Digital Systems Engineer for regional initiatives (South America), ensuring that local technical and business needs are reflected in global solutions;
Conduct experimentation and practical validation of proposed concepts (real data, replays, functional analyses) with customers, cooperators, and partners, anticipating risks and ensuring readiness for hand-off to development teams;
Provide advanced support to connected software companies that use our APIs. Experience with REST APIs (HTTP methods, status codes, OAuth) and the use of API clients (Postman/API Explorer);
End‑to‑end troubleshooting (web, mobile, backend, data), log reading, and data‑flow analysis. Ability to explore data and build evidence using analytical tools;
Practical knowledge of automation/analysis languages (Python or R) and Java or JavaScript for reading/understanding integrations;
Experience in systems engineering: gathering inputs, defining aligned objectives, creating/evaluating alternatives, system design, verification, and validation;
Strong communication skills (written/visual) for specifications, diagrams, and reviews; problem‑solving abilities, willingness to learn, and knowledge‑sharing mindset;
Portuguese and English (to lead meetings, produce documentation, and deliver presentations); given the South America scope, Spanish is a plus. We are looking for a strong technology‑oriented profile with openness to grow in the agronomic domain. Bachelor's degree in a technology or engineering field.
Experience with the Operations Center and its ecosystem (APIs, data, offboard/onboard integrations);
Ability to experiment and validate hypotheses using real data and customer feedback, accelerating decisions and reducing rework.
