The Web Development Specialist will design, develop, and maintain client websites and
web-based projects, with a strong focus on back-end functionality, performance, and
security. This role supports front-end development and collaborates closely with designers
and content teams to ensure each website aligns with client goals and brand identity. The
ideal candidate stays current with modern web technologies, tools, and best practices to
deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly digital solutions for agribusiness clients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead complex web projects from concept through launch and ongoing maintenance.
- Develop efficient, secure, and scalable web applications that balance performance, security, and user experience.
- Collaborate with designers, content strategists, and project managers to align technical execution with creative goals.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand needs, recommend solutions, and provide technical guidance.
- Stay current on modern web technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, agency-style environment.
- Apply strong organizational and business acumen to deliver work on time and within budget.
- Build and maintain websites tailored to agribusiness audiences.
- Lead custom Word Press development, including themes, plugins, and integrations.
- Architect solutions focused on performance, scalability, and security.
- Monitor site performance, conduct routine updates, and implement optimization strategies (e.g., caching, lazy loading, minimizing requests).
- Ensure SEO-friendly development through semantic HTML and best practices.
- Oversee quality assurance testing, debugging, and troubleshooting using development and analytics tools.
- Support Dev Ops processes, including deployment pipelines and application monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and industry standards.
- Provide training and technical support for clients and internal teams.
- Develop and maintain custom Word Press websites.
- Build scalable web applications integrating APIs and databases.
- Optimize existing websites for speed, performance, and security.
- Support site migrations, redesigns, and platform upgrades.
- Enhance UX/UI to improve user experience and engagement.
- Implement SEO-focused technical improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex website or application issues.
- Contribute to long-term digital strategy and innovation initiatives.
- Review project priorities and collaborate with designers and content teams.
- Write, debug, and deploy front-end and back-end code.
- Meet with internal teams or clients to discuss technical requirements and solutions.
- Test website functionality, performance, and security.
- Conduct maintenance, audits, and optimization improvements.
- Provide technical leadership, documentation, or training.
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including server programming and database management
- Ability to manage tasks effectively and meet deadlines in an on-site environment
- Familiarity with agriculture-related industries is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field preferred
