We’re scaling fast and are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who’s passionate about building powerful, scalable features and strengthening our infrastructure to help us reach the next level.

What You’ll Do

As a senior engineer at Bound, you’ll be hands-on in building and scaling the future of youth sports technology. You’ll take ownership of systems that matter, contribute to architectural decisions, and help shape the foundation of our growing tech stack.

Feature Development

• Enhance and expand core platform features across web and mobile.
• Power fintech systems with smooth, reliable payment flows.
• Improve next-generation apps, websites, and student-athlete profiles.
• Build innovative tools for facility management, officials, and communication.
• Collaborate with product & design to bring high-impact ideas to life.

Infrastructure & Dev Ops

• Contribute to AWS cloud infrastructure scaling and reliability.
• Define and implement CI/CD pipelines to improve release cycles.
• Champion automation and developer tooling that boost engineering velocity.

Performance, Security & Reliability

• Monitor and optimize performance across services and databases.
• Implement robust alerting, monitoring, and logging.
• Promote and enforce security best practices, aligning with SOC-2 standards.
• Partner with product, QA, and stakeholders to align tech with business goals.
• Participate in technical planning, estimation, and code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and help grow the team.
• Evaluate third-party tools and integrations for strategic fit.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven experience building and scaling modern web or mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops best practices.
• Commitment to performance, reliability, and security.
• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
