Description

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its Ames office. Candidates should be service‑oriented, a team player, and able to provide extraordinary care to patients every day.

• Take patients to and from the restroom.
• Assist nurses and transport patients to the hospital by wheelchair.
• Answer call lights.
• Measure vital signs and record them.

• High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET.
• Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant training program with verification of certification.

• Completion of a 75‑hour basic Certified Nursing Assistant Program or completion of an Advanced Nurse Aide Program with certificate.
• BLS certification or obtain within 90 days of hire and maintain throughout employment.
• Mandatory reporter training within 90 days of hire and maintain throughout employment.

Monday – Friday.

7:45 AM – 4:30 PM.

• Previous CNA experience is required.

Pre‑employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
