$37-47 per hour base pay with a $5,000 sign on bonus.
$3,000 annually in tuition assistance.
12‑hr shifts, night and day shifts available. Shift differentials are included.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care to patients. This includes supervising care, treatment, and services of patient care provided by LPNs, CNAs, and other staff on the assigned unit and shift. The RN develops, implements, and evaluates an individual plan of care for each client, assesses and re‑assesses patients, and communicates appropriate information with the interdisciplinary team. The RN reports client concerns and changes in condition to supervisor and/or physician in a timely manner.
Provides and coordinates care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs, develops and implements nursing care plans, maintains medical records, and educates clients and families about physical and behavioral health conditions while ensuring client safety at all times.
Assesses client status on an ongoing basis and documents pertinent information. Ensures nursing treatment plans are specific to assessed needs and completed upon admission.
Takes physician's orders (verbal or via telephone) accurately, transcribes and reviews orders, and ensures they are legible. Administers medications per ordered note, documents accurate counts of controlled substances, and monitors lab results to ensure medication compliance.
Notifies physician of significant changes in status, such as difficulties with detox or medical emergencies. Supervises self‑administration of medications using safety initiatives and maintains accountability of administration, recording, control, and security of medications, including narcotics.
Completes admission and discharge processes efficiently and accurately as directed. Confers regularly with the treatment team (nurses, therapists, program managers, physician) regarding client care and attends and participates in unit activities such as therapy groups, family meetings, staffing, and unit meetings.
Provides education/explanation to clients, families, and co‑workers regarding medication usage, common side effects, client rights, and other topics necessary for optimal client care. Monitors client acuity, census, staffing needs, and makes arrangements for coverage as needed.
Assures thorough, accurate documentation is completed for all clients on each shift, and client assignment sheets are completed daily and tasks are carried out as assigned. Gives thorough report to oncoming staff, supervisors, and physician. Provides coverage in emergency services as needed.
Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing. One or more years' nursing experience within a clinical area of service provided by the facility is preferred. Experience in a behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery environment is preferred. Valid current RN license from the state or a compact state, where applicable. Certified in Psychiatric Nursing is preferred.
