Assistant Director of Nursing

Green Hills Community is recruiting for a Assistant Director of Nursing staff position to provide 24-hour nursing care for residents.

• Develop, organize, and operate nursing and supportive services for the Health Care Center.
• Maintain and schedule daily rounds and assignments for nursing staff to ensure 24-hour coverage in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with government agencies, residents, families, and employees.
• Interview and hire nursing personnel at all levels of care.
• Oversee completion of new-hire and annual performance evaluations.
• Observe and assist in direct resident care; cover shifts as needed, including CNA or Charge Nurse duties.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

• Degree from an accredited school of nursing:
  Bachelor's, Associate's, or equivalent experience.
• Current registration with the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• One year of management experience supervising others.
