Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing
The Laboratory Coordinator is responsible for the planning, coordination, operation, and evaluation of nursing skills laboratory experiences for Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) students. This role supports the integration of psychomotor skill development, clinical reasoning, and evidence-based practice throughout the curriculum. The Laboratory Coordinator collaborates with faculty, students, simulation personnel, and university staff to ensure a safe, organized, and effective laboratory learning environment that supports program outcomes, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
The position will be a two-year term, with renewal, based on performance and department need.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
RequiredMinimum Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and related field and 2 years of clinical experience
- Current unencumbered RN license.
- Experience in nursing education, clinical practice, laboratory instruction, or skills development.
- Knowledge of nursing skills laboratory operations and instructional methodologies.
- Experience managing healthcare equipment, supplies, and inventory systems.
- Knowledge of nursing accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with faculty, students, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Experience with educational technologies and learning management systems preferred.
