We are looking for a P/T Sales Associate who embodies these qualities and is ready to take our accounting area to the next level.

The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, supporting store goals, maintaining a clean store, and handling cash transactions. They assist customers, follow company policies, and build positive relationships with hospital contacts and volunteers.

• Monday-Friday: 8:00AM–7:00PM
• Saturday-Sunday: 10:00AM–4:00PM

13.50 hours per week, as needed for coverage.

• Customer Service
  :
  Provide exceptional customer service to every customer who enters the shop, greeting each customer, thanking them for their purchase, and inviting them back as they exit.
• Store Performance
  :
  Meet store performance objectives, review daily and monthly sales goals, support events per Corporate and Store Manager directions, and clock in/out according to scheduled slots to keep within budgeted hours.
• Store Appearance
  :
  Ensure the store is clean, shelves are dusted, trash off the floor, items organized and displayed per corporate standards, and maintain cleanliness per infection prevention requirements.
• Cash Management
  :
  Handle own cash, count register drawer at shift start, reconcile drawer at shift change, follow company policy for payment methods, and notify the Store Manager of unexplained differences over $10.
• Personal Performance
  :
  Follow hospital and Cloverkey policies related to appearance, attendance, and customer service; meet individual and team performance targets including knowledge of store operations, schedule adherence, sales, and hospital policy compliance.
• Partner Relationship Management
  :
  Know the hospital contact and maintain a positive relationship; respect the role of volunteers in the hospital and gift shop.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in gifts sales or a related field is preferred.

• Stand for long periods of time.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build rapport.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong sales skills with ability to upsell and cross-sell products.
• Effective time management to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Primarily inside climate-controlled buildings.

Self-paced, requiring work quickly and accurately in a demanding environment.

Frequently performing lifting, carrying, standing, walking, sitting, pushing, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, climbing, reaching, grasping, and fine manipulation. Lifting ranges: 1–10 lbs continuously, 11–20 lbs continuously, 21–35 lbs occasionally, 36–50 lbs rarely, 51–75 lbs rarely.
